Where It All Began
My grandfather, a master finish carpenter, taught me to appreciate the beauty of wood—its rich colors, unique patterns, and the story in every grain. As a young adult (early 20’s), I spent countless hours with him in the garage, building bookshelves and tables that sparked my love for craftsmanship.
I later refined my skills in carpentry and masonry at the Naval Construction Training Center in Gulfport, Mississippi, while serving as an Army Reservist. These experiences shaped my woodworking approach—blending the tradition and artistry I learned from my grandfather with the precision and discipline gained from military training.
